While I run AgentWebRanking or open search profile file my Norton AntiVirus will give me alert saying it detects some virus from this event. Is there anything wrong with it?

NAV will warn the execution of online scripts (what is was designed for) AND local scripts (preventing many programs like Windows Millenium Update to work properly). If you go to Norton Antivirus website: http://www.symantec.com/search/ and search for: "script blocking" you will see that Symantec always recommand to disabled this feature when local programs try to update online data (in NAV2001) and has introduced "Authorize this script" (in NAV2002/2003/2004) to allow the permanent execution of these scripts.

For NAV 2001:

- either you select "allow the entire script" and keep the same level of protection or you go into NAV Options and unselect "Script blocking enable".

For NAV 2002/2003/2004:

- select "Authorize this script" and you will never be warned again

AgentWebRanking uses scripts to analyse search engine results. To ensure a total security of your PC, these scripts are 128bits encrypted so there is no way an update may install virus. To make sure you will have no trouble with AgentWebRanking, you can also download McAffee VirusScan (http://www.mcafee.com) and you will not be warned at all.

Is there a maximum number of searches that can be performed on each ranking report ? How to speedup the ranking process?

It all depends on your PC configuration. AgentWebRanking is 100% browser repliquant. It works like if the user was manually searching the net. So you need enough free available memory and CPU to run large ranking reports.

To run ranking reports we suggest:

- To delete Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser temporary file (for increasing free available memory).

- 256 Ram minimum

- 1000 MB Amount minimum of disk space to use for temporary internet files folder.

- To close all other software applications if you need to run larhe ranking report (for CPU reasons).
